Since February, 1999, This site has honored the forgotten heroes of Class D professional baseball in the Deep South, specifically the Wiregrass Region of Southeastern Alabama, Southwestern Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle. Class D baseball met it's demise in November, 1962, when Minor League Baseball reorganized into the Class structure we know today, but there is a rich history associated with the lowest level of the minors that hopefully will live on in the pages of this web site. This site's mission is to preserve the history of minor league baseball in the deep south. I am interested in any information, no matter how minor.
